I understand that some Compact Flash cards can be troublesome but will any PCMCIA reader work okay with an A1200?
Reason being I see plenty on eBay but I'm not sure if they'd physically fit in the A1200; Type I vs Type II.

We supply our EasyADF software with a compatible PCMCIA CF adapter for the Amiga 1200 and A600 here:

We supply printed documents with the package and also have a walk-through technical document if you dont have hard disk on our support site:

Thanks Amigakit - you guys are on my radar, I'm just aware that the hardware component (or components that look similar) can be found on eBay for a little less.
I hoping to check whether 'any old' PCMCIA reader will work or only specific versions - type 1 or 2?
I've found an old PCMCIA network card at home, unlikely I'd need it on my A1200 but it doesn't actually slide into the slot. Something seems to be blocking it before it reaches the pins. Which then made me doubt any card reader would fit...
Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and pay for the premium product and the peace-of-mind that comes with that.

Probably a CardBus (32 bit) network card you have there, those won't work in the Amiga. Most CF card adapters are 16 bit, as far as I've seen.

Amigakit - I think I'll plump with you guys. I've been reading around the subject and many have recommend the kit you supply for easy of use.
