Just came across this screenshot when looking up Cygnus ED on the net:

What font is used in that screenshot for the Workbench elements (titlebar, search/replace box)?

Isn't it just Topaz? ISTR the larger size looked slightly different.

The one in the background (editor) most certainly is topaz.
The one in the bar, requester etc. isn't...
Puzzling, it looks kinda' familiar  :-?

I would say 'Topaz' (the 2.04 and higher romfont version) for text and 'Chicago' for titlebar, and gui text.
Chicago is a macintosh font, perhaps converted in this case.

The case of a font can be converted with the shift key.
