from how the aladdin anims usually look like, it seems aladins limit of vertices and surfaces per object are 8, texture is limited to 16x16 and you can only move the camera along a spline with 3 keyspoints. oh, and the program automatically refuses to render an animation that has any plot. am i right?

Dear Friend:

I believe aladdin can handle unlimited surfaces/textures per object, the only limitation is determined by your ram/memory. The texture control in aladdin is amazing and allow for complex effects. The camera movement is not constrained to only 3 keypoints, it can be as many as you want. The cube animation is just an animation for begginners and is part of the quickstart tutorial, for begginners. Don't be deceived with the cube, that is just an introductory tutorial. The number of surfaces or keypoints for camera movement can be as many as you need.
Cheers !!!
