Title: Mega-Midget Racer CPU pins! Help me find a part to fix these!
Post by: abbub on January 13, 2009, 03:31:24 AM

So I have two Mega-midget racers that I need to replace the CPU pins on.  The solder job itself is going to be relatively easy, but I need to find the part that needs to be soldered on.  I did some cursory looking around on digikey's website, but their lack of pictures makes finding the correct part difficult.  Does anyone know what this part might be called and have a good source for them?  Obviously the one pictured is not only broken off of the board (and thus the pins that get soldered onto the board are missing), but it also broke into two pieces, since it doesn't have the complete 32-pins to make up one side of the 68000 socket.

Anyway, I appreciate any suggestions/input!  These need to be repaired and put back into needy Amigas!

Thanks!
