Hi all :-)
Samsung Syncmaster 151S, does anybody know if I can connect this monitor to an A4000 with SD/FF?
I can't find out if it works at 50hz.
I have been offered this monitor for a very good price, but I'll only buy it if I know for sure that I can use it with my miggy :-)
Thanks in advance :-)

from the manual (http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/200301/20030125151045333_151S_EN.pdf)
Synchronization
Horizontal 30 ~ 60 kHz
Vertical 56 ~ 75 Hz
it seems it likes no PAL...

I have a Syncmaster (914?) which connects fine to my A3000's VGA port but fails with both an external and a ScanMagic FF/SD. I've got this huge Hitachi CRT still around which has worked with every machine I've thrown at it!
I still regret selling my NEC Multi-sync II! I did it all...

My 931BF works a treat with both the A3k's Amber output and the Merlin board - haven't got the Merlin to display a proper native resolution to get a really crisp display though (TFTs in non-native resolutions are always slightly blurred). I hope the USB-to-DVI converter works one day to get a perfect output. :-)

@Zac67
Thanks, that's just what I wanted to know :-)
To bad for me :-(

I've successfully used a Samsung 510T with the PIV SD/FF.
The specs said it works at 56 ~ 75 Hz.
To my surprise it also worked at 50 Hz.
This also goes for my current samsung 206BW monitor.
It happily works at 50 Hz.
Edit: I had to fine-tune the settings though, because the auto-adjust button of the monitor didn't use the optimal settings.

I have a Samsung SyncMaster 750s and it works
fine with the A4000/060.

I have a 151s - will tell you if it works @50hz once I get a minimig soon.

Thanks :-)
Nice to know that there still are a little hope!
It's hard to find at flat screen that works at 50hz..

Just for the record: the 931BF is also rated
Frequencies
horizontal 30 - 81 kHz
vertical 56 - 75 Hz
but works fine with a PAL Amber output.
