Hi all,
During my recent return home I managed to cobble enough old spares together to build myself an A1200 desktop wedge (ah sweet nostalgia).
I'm a bit stuck OS wise - I have both OS3.1 and 3.5 and wanted to use the old HD from my tower in the wedge. The only problem is that the old system has Kickstart 3.0 only and wont recognise the partitions properly. This is no doubt due to the fact that when it was running in my tower I upgraded the filesystem with the OS3.5 fastfilesystem.
I have been scouting around online to see if anywhere sells the KS3.1 chips but they all seem to be available as bundles with 3.5/3.9, when all I want to do is run 3.1 on the desktop 1200 (I have the disks but no roms as they are in my tower).
Anybody know where I can pick a pair up from at a reasonable price?

eBay
There's a company in Germany www.schatzruhe.de (sp?) that sells as Amigetta on eBay

Hello Karlos,
You can try Computer City (http://compcity.nl/shop/E_frame.html) in Holland.

You could get them cheaper elsewhere, but if you go through Power Computing you'll be able to get them replaced if they're faulty.
A1200 3.1 Roms on their own (http://www.powerc.com/cgi-bin/psearch.cgi?code=623-0001&rn=357&aid=&uid=ssRkeUSWevI1RjY&sid=&cid=4&act=gpage)
They are reliable, as long as the items are in stock, if they're not, keep emailing them to get answers ;-)

Cheers guys. I guess I needed to look a bit farther than I did :-)

Hmm, maybe I will go for a 3.9 bundle, after all :-)
-
I bought mine from Eyetech.co.uk (http://www.eyetech.co.uk/).
-
I've been trying to use 3.5 on the Access, but am in the process of giving up and buying another 3.9 license ;-)

I bought mine from Software Hut here in the US.
