Chances are I won't get any nibbles here with a serious offer, but I'll give it a shot.
In box and complete, like new. OS package unopened, video adapter unopened.
The previous owner was a collector. He bought this new from a dealer loaded with everything and it has sat in storage. If he used it, it was only very briefly. It is cherry, battery and battery area are cherry. No leakage at all.
A4000(D) complete in original box, with everything (keys!!)
Cyberstorm MKIII 68060 w/128MB ram
DCE G-Rex 4000 PCI board
Voodoo 4, Terratec sound card, ethernet card
CD-ROM, floppy (of course)
Time is short before this goes on eBay. I may part out before eBay as I'd certainly get more what I am asking here.
-edit 12/29/08- offer over

Hey, I would give my left ### for this as is, but unfortunately, unless I win the loto, I could not afford it at this time. :-D

If the GB£ was still worth anything I would seriously consider it but I'll just have to let it go :-(

Outside eBay - $1100 firm + shipping.

That's a great price! If you part it out let me know what you want for the Cyberstorm?
-
Why would someone buy this and stick it in a closet as a collectible? I just dont get people that collect things and never use them.
-
If all A4000's used the same keys, you could get these keys copied to sell to all the people who have lost or never had keys for their own A4000.
-
*sigh*
$1100 = 783 Euros or $750 Australian. This would be a "good" deal for one of you chaps! I'd prolly pull the trigger at $750 U.S., but $1100 is too rich for my blood I'm afraid.

$1100 US = $1616 AUD!

That's a pretty system. A couple of years ago I'd have been able to jump on it. Not so much now. Buyer's gonna be one happy chap.

I was confused, too. USD's didn't drop THAT much!
-
Holy Moley, what an ass I am. My apologies. $1100 US is indeed $A1615. Must have read the calculator wrong.
Still <> $1100 US *is* 783 Euros though... not quite as much a steal, but...
-
1100 USD = 7,830.13 NOK :-o
-
1100 USD = 5866DKK ;-)

Just for laughs...
1100 US Dollar(s) = 277,777,500 Zimbabwe Dollar
-
I hope it will get a new good home

That was at 18:25, what the Zimbabwean price now?
-
Actually it's Z$9,900,000,000 at the street rate (Z$1,018,407,500 at the official rate, but only INTO Zimbabwe Dollars, not out...)
At any rate I'm bowing out of the collectors world at this point, my savings took a beating in the stock market and I do want to retire before 65...

Red's got a wormhole to an alternate dimension where he has an endless surplus of amiga items. We've already discussed this, in great detail. :-P

ooooh o6o and g-rex... nice nice nice... wish i could jump for it...
but like most, i'm half way through the financial pain. xmas is done. got new years, a sprinkling of birthdays, burns night, and valantines to get through yet. when's love day again?

@ darksun9210
Valentines Day & full time relationships just don't really go together. Tell her "Every Day" is a Valentines day. That's why you're with her! ;-)
Ker-Ching! - Instant cash in the bank when f'kin Roses Quadruple in price & £40 a Fist Full.
@ red
Looks like you're going to have to split her up & that's a real shame. Good luck with whatever her outcome. ;-)

Actually it looks like I may have a buyer on eBay. Since I have it in the eBay store, my amiga.org offer is null and void. For me that is a good thing as I would have left A LOT of money on the table.

yeah i know a guy in portugal who does the same thing. hes got like 20 A1200 Magic packs brand new...
and got knows what else... makes a good living..
-
Make girls want you more!
