I just saw a Wizard 560 dpi mouse on eBay, that has a utilities disk with it.
I have one of these mice (mouses ?) but didn't get any software. Is there a needed driver on this disk? or what?
Actually my mouse seems to work fine, but now I must know what I'm missing.

No drivers needed, Eric. They just work. :-)

You need software only to utilize the middle-mouse button, for example FreeWheel (http://www.blackfiveservices.co.uk/freewheel.shtml) or FlipSide (http://aminet.net/package/util/misc/FlipSide_v2.0).

Ah yes, the middle button. I apparently still have a little commodity called MMB on my drives. Might look for something better. But, I thought I was getting full speed out of this mouse.
Many thanks

I got one of these mice at a show years ago and the vendor selling it essentially said "Never use the software on the disk!" The implication was that it would Do Bad Things.
