Title: WTB: GVP SCSI ROM
Post by: Naton on December 26, 2008, 04:53:55 PM
Over the course of trying to repair my HD8+, I managed to break not one but two ROMs, and it turns out the ROM was never the problem.. But now it is, because I don't have one! If someone could sell me another one (just a regular kind, not looking for a guru-rom ;-)) I'll promise to try not to break it :-D  Located in Australia.

If you keep an eye on EBay you will see them.  A guy has them for sale quite often and you will also be assured of getting the most recent version.  Or what would work even better for you, contact Castellen here on The Org and he can help you out.  He's from your side of the world (New Zealand) and I know the guy on EBay is from the US.  I have bought from Castellen many times and have never been disapointed.

Sorry bout that.. its on Ralph Babel's website. scroll about halfway down the page..

Its easy to burn.. Took me all of 5 minutes..

Then again, I guess that would depend on your eprom burner software. Mine reads Intel Hex directly, and has a built in sector editor... so I just loaded it twice into a 32k image, and burned it straight to a 27256... worked like a champ..
