Post by: swift240 on December 25, 2008, 10:12:06 PM
Hi all,
I am using Linux Ubuntu8.1 with all updates.
I have Installed Amikit with no hassle.
Well I say that I have every thing set, but I get this problem error when trying to run Amikit.

Unable to set video mode: Couldnt find matching GLX visual

Now I am proper stuck.

Can any one help here please?

TIA,

Mike.

Ok got past all that.
I can now get to the box E-UAE that asks for what Language I need, English, but I can not get into that box at all. I see the red mouse pointer at the top left but no matter what I do I just cant get into that box.

I cant find any thing on this.

Did any one have this problem if so how did you over come it?

TIA,

Mike.

Ok iI changed the Game Port from Joy to mouse now I am in the box.

Great I thought, I pressed English and so on to the next box and that is:-

System request for the CD rom OS3.9
My AMiga OS3.9 CD rom is in the drive but when I click on it to continue it wont, like as if the CD is not in the drive.
I do have the correct setting for this /dev/scd0
Ok what next how do I get this to see the OS3.9 CD in the drive?

Mike.
