Title: PageStream 3.3a text always black?
Post by: Dwyloc on December 24, 2008, 01:06:08 AM
I have just received a copy of PageStream 3.3a I purchased off ebay and after a night of paying around with it under Amiga Forever 2008 and looking at the Manual I just can't seem to figure out How to change the Colour of text in a text field.

I can change the background colour of the text field but I just cant get the text colour its self to change.

So have I just purchased the Model-T Ford of the desktop publishing world were I can have things in any colour I like as long as its black or have I just having a blond moment?

Secondly dose anyone know were I can get a British language pack for PageStream 3.X as the supplied disks only have an American one and the one available to download from the PageStream web site only works with version 4.X.

For the text color, highlight your text, and get Line & Fill from the Type menu. Pick your color from the gadget in the Line tab.

Don't know about the dictionaries. You're sure the one on the site won't work with 3.3? (3.x and 4.x are very similar.) Otherwise, try emailing. Have you registered your copy with Deron?

Thanks that works for setting colours.

I have already tried the spell checkers on the pagestream website but the format has changed.

I have tried to register on the website as well but the registration form dose not except my registration number so I have already sent an e-mail.

No answer to my e-mail yet but as its Christmas time I don't expect to get an answer until after the Christmas break.
