Title: Disappointment over sam440.

It looks as though a PS3 may knock over the SAM as my next purchase. Disappointment ahead of Christmas with the number available seems to have forced my hand.

I thought that too.

Have they resorted to a sort of pre-order system? It seems the production volume of the second batch was low.

Only very limited numbers.  I pre-ordered (and paid upfront) on the 24/10/2008 from amigakit and I am still waiting on a board, I have confirmation from amigakit I will be getting one of the next batch which should hopefully come in next week but its unlikely that I will see it until sometime next year as a result of the Christmas holidays.
