I've just bought a Commodore-One with the expansion board to allow it to run Minimig cores. However, I'm 6000 miles away from it at work. :(
Anyway, I've been thinking about a case for it and realised that I need to give a keyboard some thought too. I use a PC keyboard on my Minimig and A4000 with no problems, but I've remembered that I own 2 Keyrahs (8 bit and 16 bit). I've already fitted the 16bit one inside an old A1200 which ended up in a tower case, but I also have a damaged C64 with a dead serial port that could house the 8 bit one.
Both Keyrahs end with a USB connector, but would a USB to PS2 adapter allow the 2 keyboards to be used on the C-One while using the C64 and Minimig Cores? I don't fancy trying to draw all those C64 symbols onto a PC keyboard!
So, has anyone tried it?

The Keyrah docs (at least the 8bit) say that you can't use an adapter.

Ah bugger! So much for that idea. :-(
Thanks for the info. If I could then there was a temptation to fit the C-One inside the A1200 case. :-)

docs were meant to be hacked around.

LOL. Very true. I'll try the 16bit Keyrah just for the hell of it when I get home. You never know your luck. :-)

Umm, no.
You do know your luck in this case. The Keyrah is a USB only device.
In order to be able to use a wires only usb -> ps2 converter, the keyboard or mouse must be able to switch to ps2 mode.

Cheers for clearing that up. Anyone make Commodore 64/128 keyboard symbol stickers for PC keyboards? :)
