I have a GVP 1230 II card with 8 MB of fast memory and upgraded from 68030EC@40MHz to 68030@50MHZ and 68882@50 MHz.
The SCSI controller I use is a GVP 1291 SCSI controller and using a external Plextor 40x CD-ROM. The hard disk is a CF2IDE controller with a Sandisk 4 GB Ultra II.
The A1200 is powered with a 145 Watt PSU from Amigakit.
The crystal also has been upgraded from 40 MHz to 50 MHz. Every time I unpack files from CD-ROM,after a while (30 Minutes) the whole system crashed.
When I put back my old 40 MHz, It has no problems at all.
I already tried with another Crystal of 50 MHz. It does the same.
I think I have a heat problem.
What are the solution(s) to solve this problem?
