Title: MorphOS game HyperCannon also available for iPhone
Post by: realstar on December 13, 2008, 03:40:08 AM
Hi, I want to let MorphOS and Amiga users know that my game HyperCannon is now also available for iPhone and iPod touch at the App Store. If you like the game on MorphOS and are interested in a portable version, please give it a try. There are a couple of new features like the shield re-generator, difficulty selection, survival mode and a resume world feature if you quit the game during play.

How is it develop on the iPhone vs MorphOS. easier, harder? Does it take long to port between the two?

I would say it's a little more difficult to develop for iPhone than MorphOS. Cocoa layer uses objective c and the operating systems don't have too much in common. Porting between them can be maintained if your software is designed for the purpose though.

@realstar

I bought your game last night, cool app. Kind of needs a real joystick though, wish there was a joystick add on for the iPhone.
