Hi...
today I am having issues using my BPPC 603e+.
My Amiga 1200T do not want to boot.
My BPCC had 2 simms of 256 MB and I tried a 64 MB stick too but no way!
Last time I used it all went fine!
Is there any way to fix this problem or check the card?
Many Thanks

@Daniele
oops... the same happened to mone 2 weeks ago. I spent three days trying to find the problem why it suddenly stopped booting... at times it worked fine, others it didn't boot.. now it's in AmigaCenter in France being repaired... :-(
Try to remove all of your cards, etc and see it if boots when connected to the vanila A1200 motherboard..
Good luck,
Dragster

have you tried simple reset? some ppc cards have problems with cold boots.
-
Yes ... I tried the reset.
But it booted only once in 20 attempts!
Why is happenting this?
Is there a way to check if the BPPC is working and recognized. I am trying holding the ESC Key at the boot but I cannot enter the menu maybe because I am using a PC PS2 Keyboard with the Key Adaptor for Tower Kits!
Let me knows
Thanks

Sounds like a weak PSU... try another one... The blizppc sucks a lot of power.

@Bloodline
Do I need to feed of Power the Mobo with the FDD Power cord from the PSU to the Amiga Mobo FDD Power?
PS: I am using a DBox Tower with a Mediator PCI

@Daniele
Yous keyboard adaptor should be fine to be able to let you get into the BPPC menu. Mine works (Power Tower). The PPC eats lots of power, but IT IS possible to make it run with the normal A1200 PSU... try to take your machine apart, hold the mobo somewhere and attach the bppc, then just connect the A1200 PSu to the mobo, connect the composite video of the Amiga 1200 to a monitor and turn the computer on, see if that works, it's not possible to run the bppc with this PSU all the time but at least it should start... I've done it several times.
Good luck,
D.
EDIT: Fixed typos

If you do it right it will help, do of wrong and say good bye to your amiga :-)

yes Daniele you do, and you asked that before (http://www.amiga.org/forums/showthread.php?t=28066). anyway it has been repeated over and over again.. :roll:
just don't use two seperate PSUs, only one.

@Dragester my BPPC works fine into another Amiga so I really do not like to see the card need to be repaired
@Orange. Sorry I forgot my old thread but this one is more specific.
Now I have made these attempts:
I powered the Amiga Motherbord but the FDD with the DBox PSU but I have the same destinty. My Amiga Do not want to boot.
To check my BPPC I inserted it into an Amiga 1200 desktop of mine and it works flawlessy. I can even enter the menu that I cannot access but PC Keyboard adapter by my tower.
So I reckon that maybe:
1) it is a matter of Power? I hooked tthe PSU FDD but no way.
2) it is the IdeFix Express?
What do you think?
Many Thanks

I hear the cd and hd spinning and several reset.
One change I changed the position of the power cords and it runned fine but now I do not remember the configurations of the correct wires!
:(
Any Hint?
