Illegal instruction?
What are you running when it gurus?
Is it a plain unexpanded A500?
Remember to enhance you calm...
-
@Argo: nothing. It just happens as soon as i switch the machine one.
it happens randomly. The machine is a plain A500 with nothing extra added.....
:-? :-? :-? :-?

Could be everything. Dying power supply, dying RAM chips, corroded contacts on the RAM chips or the CPU, loosely sitting RAM expansion, leaking battery on the RAM expansion etc.
Bye,

@Thomas: i got no Ram expansion.
The machines boots up perfect always the very first time you switch on the machine.
Then, when you switch on/off several times, i get this guru meditation errors:
- guru meditation #00000004.0000621e
- guru meditation #00000004.00003342
- guru meditation #00000004.00001970
Last one is most common guru i have noticed on the machine
Im trapped here.
The machine used to work perfect. I´ve seen no corrosion since never used a Ram expansion...
Also all contacts seeem to be making perfect contact....and i tested with 3 different Power Supplies
What could it be?????
Any hints? IdeaS? Please help!!!

Added new info: changed both rom & proccessor: same synthoms, but i have discovered that the behaviour of the machine is not erratic
Every time i power on for the first time, it works perfect. Issues appear after a reset, and a grey screen is all i get after Guru meditatin errorr described before
Any ideas? Anyone? Please!!!

maybe try waiting a few seconds before reswitching it on. count to ten and see if that helps.

*edit* oops, I read A600 for some reason. Anyway, re-seating all socketed chips is a good idea.
