Title: Having to bleed and cry some more.
Post by: justthatgood on December 01, 2008, 10:09:12 PM
Okay as I said before, my Prometheus is up on the market for those that have the cash and the need.

Also I think I might have to get rid of my PAR too...

Next on the list is my Amiga 2000.

As I've seen there is an extreme glut of Amiga 2000's on the marketplace, I'm thinking I'm not going to be maximum value if I sell the unit whole...

For the Prometheus and the Par, pitch some offers before I eBay (I so hate eBay and their crooked practices, but I need top dollar and an audience willing to pay that)

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but seriously: how crooked is eBay compared to brick and mortar real estate, merchant account, and credit card processing fees? I gather that many eBay merchants neglect to report income from new goods they purchased for resale, so really, it's probably quite a deal.

EDIT: I'm probably just as guilty from a consumer standpoint. The fact that Amazon.com doesn't charge sales tax on shipments to California is something I might have overlooked while preparing my income tax returns.
