Hi,
Years ago (early 1990s) I bought an Epson GT6500 scanner and the AD-Pro scanner pack (and parallel interface cable) for my A1200.
It was a great combination and had the best and simplest interface of any scanning software I've used, plus the results were simply fantastic - better than the cheapo scanners you get today...
The only downside to the software was that the screen mode was fixed at PAL Hires-Laced (640x512) in 16 colour grey-scale. Not ideal, but it did the job...
Anyhow, since I now have a nice new A1200 with SCSI, I was wondering if there's any up-to-date scanning software available, preferably something that supports AGA screen modes and preferably SCSI scanners - I'll probably look at getting a HP Scanjet...
Any help or comments greatly appreciated,as ever!
Cheers,
Mike.

Your best bet would be FXScan by IOSpirit.
There was a list of supported scanners on their website, but IOSpirit left the Amiga market some time ago,
so they removed the Amiga webpages.
I'm using it myself with an Epson USB scanner, and it works perfectly with both my Deneb and Subway.

Did you just win this A1200 off ebay with the blizzard 1230 + scsi for $390. You JUST beat me...thats TWICE you've done that...
i used scanquix 4. I may have it here..not might be at my parents place. Betascan (Aminet) also has drivers for a HP scanjet but I've never used it

Back when I used my A2000 on a regular basis I had an HP ScanJet 5P and used BetaScan regularly. It worked very well, quick to startup, quick preview scan and handled large area, high resolution scans well.

I use registered "FXScan" in its latest incarnation by Felix Schwarz in conjunction with "ScanQuix5" (?) and ICS color correcting system.
"FXScan" in its latest incarnation furthermore offers the creating of PDF documents, as well as OCR...
