A quick search of the BBOAH shows:
Brian Fowler Computers: CD32 Connection Kit
Connection: Unbekannt

Some sort of kit which allows you to connect other Amigas to the CD32, probably with the intention of sharing its CDROM etc. Nothing more known.

Probably more were made, but I have never seen or heard of one.

There also was The Communicator by Eureka (http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/search.pl?product=communicator&company=).

What you actually need is an SX-32 and then you wouldn`t need the A1200 :-)

Do you own a Communicator?

I bought one second hand several years ago. It came with the CD, but without the driver disk.

Is there any chance you could send me the driver disk (or upload it somewhere) please?

Hi

Now your asking !! Obviously, yes I do own the software and hardware, would just have to find it. Kinda like a massive Amiga vault here. I have one or two ideas where it might be. Give me a day or two. Not a problem putting the software onto the website...

I have a CD32 Networking kit, which is a serial cable, connecting to the CD32 Aux port at one end, and the Amiga serial port at the other.

It comes with a bootable CD for the CD32 and a disk for the other Amiga (although there are also DMS disk images on the CD if you get a corrupted floppy, which I guess happens after having this for about 15 years).

It allows file transfer from the CD32 to the Amiga, but not much else. Also, it is very slow (there are a range of serial port speeds, but the faster you choose, the more likely it is for the link to drop, meaning a reboot at both ends). The last time I used it was to take the CD32 ROM image to use in UAE.

From the Amiga end, you can access the CD32 drives (CD, RAM, floppy if you have one).

Back in the old days a CD32 used to be the cheapest CD addon to Amiga.

Boot from the WeirdScience Network CD and connect up the serial cable for CD access on almost any Amiga

Slow as hell and a waste of a CD32 but it was cheaper than a SCSI card + external CD and it worked.

Did the same thing with the CDTV when commodore USA had a firesale on CDTV units. $300 shipped via fedex. Got a parnet cable and was able to use it on my A2500.

The CD32 thing works great too.
