Title: Imac G3 in AmigaOne ?
Post by: tony23 on September 02, 2003, 09:42:49 AM
Hi , I was just wondering if I could use the G3 out of an Imac (that I recently gutted for parts) on a AmigaOne motherboard ? I know that there's the G3 version thats not socketed, But is there one that'll take the G3 strait out of an Imac ? or are there some differences ? If there is one, it'll save me some bucks, if not I guess I've got a G3 for sale and some mac ram too...
Oh , and I'm making the Imac clear plastic shell into a fish tank.  :-D

Would it fit ? No !! (the Mac has probraly still ZIF-socket).

Would it it fir with a module from a never Mac ? Yes (same socket).

Would that work ? No (different bus-protocolls).
