Title: WTB: 4mb simm for Viper card

hi guys, i am interested in buying a 4mb simm for my viper card, does anyone have one for sale?

Is it just any old 72-pin simm or does it have special requirements?

i have had a dig through my boxes of simms and the smallest i can find are 8mb EDOs... :-(

I'm pretty sure I have both 1, 2 and 4 mb simms in my drawer somewhere.

Depending on which Viper model you're about to feed, I've got a bunch of 4 MB (and even some 8 MB single sided) FPM and EDO PS/2 SIMMs free for postage - see here (http://www.amiga.org/forums/showthread.php?t=38950).

Still having problems with the viper?
It's really annoying because I almost sent you some spare simms I had laying around and then i thought there's no point. Now I wish I had...
I'm really busy at the moment but if i get time i'll send you what i have

Hi guys thanks for the help, heheh almost　got it working perfectly Rudi, I realised that for the PCMCIA to work it needs only 4 mb but I am not 100% sure which simm it will take, so your help would be really great.  Thanks again for sending the board and sorry for all the problems.

Thanks Zac67, I have the 030/28 RTC Viper .... not sure if that helps, what kind ram would work ok in it from your list?

I didn't realise there was a clash with the pcmcia, never used the viper at the same time as any other expansions.  I know that some of the simms I have are no good for the viper but i'm hopeful i might have something.

I had forgotten about it too but i think i can survive with 4 mb, if you are able to send a 4mb simm that would be great Rudi.  Let me know if you need some cash for it.
