Hello,
I am ready to Install OS4 on my A1200T but on the OS4 Manual I read to configure the ram into the PPC by holding the ESC Kay at the boot . But when I press ESC at the boot nothing happens.
If I run the PPC with another floppy and not the Amiga OS4 floppy Installation disk I can run everything but if I use OS4 intsllation disk I am stucked!
Help me please!!!
How to enter into PPC Menu?
I can only enter onto the other menu, the one by pressing both mouse buttons but not the ESC Meny key!
Help!

Make sure you have the latest firmware for your card: http://phase5.a1k.org/

I did not hook thespare floppy connector from my PSU to the motherboard floppy connector on my A1200 MB.
Could be it the cause of my problem?
Thanks

Normally no.
But, take care !
Use only the floppy PC connector (you'll lack the -12v for sound/uart...), not the "normal" Amiga PS connector.
But do you power it up by the Mediator ?
If yes, you don't have to change your power connection.
Some of the 1st BPPC firmware release didn't have "boot screen menu"... use the lastest firmware upgrade.

Ok I got it about the PSU.
I have flashed the PPC but I cannot see anything by holding the ESC key at the Boot!
In the PPC Flash Docs I can read:
BootMenu which can be invoked by holding
the Key key during the system boot.
(It may not work for weird tower pc-keyboard hacks)
I do have a pc kayboard and a D-Box tower and in the next hours I would try the PPC into a desktop A1200.
But the point now is that what I need to do according the Amiga OS Installation manual is to make sure that the MapROM Option is set "OFF" and that the RAM settings are set to "70 ns".
I cannot have anything by holding the "ESC" Key at the Boot ... I can only see a menu by holding down both mouse buttons and that's it!!!
Any hint or trick?
Thanks!!!

just plug the a1200 keyboard back, do what you have to do with the bppc, and then unplug it.

sorted out!
I could enter the Menu by holding at the same time ESC key into desktop Amiga and not into tower and pressing "SPACE" to go back to the 15 khz mode.
Many Thanks!!!
