Hello mates,
I am planning to try to install again the OS4 for Amiga Classic that I have abandoned last time before burning my IdeFix Express and Scan Doubler with a short cause my house do not have the ground.
I have bought a new one IdeFix Express and now I have assembled again my A1200 into tower.
Problem is the same.. I cannot install OS4 beacuse I cannot see the CD using the floppy disk of AOS4.
I have IdeFix Express with the Ide Adaptor and the Amiga OS 4 Manual talks about the Ide-Fix 4 Way adapter.
How do I need to connect the cable to let it recognize the IdeFix express. My HW setting on the IdeFix Express are in the picture!

Thanks in Advance!!!!

You can copy your OS4 cd to a bootable Amiga hard drive and install without the floppy. You need two hard drives to do it this way.

Any Way to boot from the Floppy to use the CD Rom?
Thanks!

I've installed OS4 classic in the past using a IDEFix97. Not sure how similar an Express is. Anyhow, 2.5" HD was on the 44 pin port of the adaptor. CD was on the first 40 pin port and was set as slave so effectivly both on the same channel. Is that how your set up?
