Title: Amiga 1200 Hard Drive replacement - Transcend IDE or CF2 MicroDrive
Post by: trip6 on November 12, 2008, 10:15:03 PM
I am looking for a amiga 1200 hard drive replacement..... What do you guys recommend a Hitachi or Seagate CF Type II Microdrive or Transcend IDE 44-pin Solid State drive? Which 4gb transcend solid state 44-pin ide drive should I get, there are a couple of models? which one fits in the A1200 case? Also, will standard CF card readers use CF type II cards like the microdrives?

Thanks in advance.

I have a 32GB Trascend CF card in my A1200 so I can easily insert the card into a card reader on my Mac for data transfer or backup.
