Hi, I ever used a 3.2Gb HD with OS 3.9 for years and haven't problems. But my HD started failing so I look in house and finded a 80Gb Seagate HD. I decided to used it.
I have a A1200, FastATA and Mediator. I partitioned this HD with 3 partitions: 500mb, 1.5Gb and 1.5Gb using HDToolBox from WB 3.1. Installed FastATA and run OS 3.9. As OS 3.9 delete old FastATA drivers I installed again FastATA. But I having problems with Setpatch in Startup-Sequence. I am getting ever the following error:
C:SetPatch
Program Failed (error #80000006)
Wait for disk activity to finish
I need any help please.
Best regards

try adding SKIPROMUPDATES scsi.device to the setpatch line in your startup-sequence so that it looks like this ->
Setpatch SKIPROMUPDATES scsi.device

Hi. The FastAta installation program put this "Setpatch SKIPROMUPDATES scsi.device" automatically in the beggining of Startup-Sequence file. The Setpatch in this command is that is giving this error.
Thanks,

type in a shell
version SetPatch full
if it is 44.13 , do a search on the OS3.9 CD for 44.16 or such
AmigaOS3.9:OS-Version3.9/Emergency-Disk/C/SetPatch ... 44.16 (15.09.00)
and bookmark this AmigaOS 3.9 FAQ page (http://www.gregdonner.org/os39faq/installtips.html)
