Title: Internal Power Loom.
Post by: nasty on November 09, 2008, 08:28:24 PM
Ok as some of you know I'm building a slimline cd drive into my desktop amiga 1200, so I'm going to need a power lead to power everything (few fans aswell). So I'm guessing i just take a feed from the floppy power connector (splice wires) and power everything from that?

Better take the power directly from the power connector on the upper leftmost point on the motherboard.

The floppy connector have a current limit, do you know?;-)
