Anyone know of anyway I can get apps like Imagine 4, Lightwave etc.. to use the Picasso IV so I can use a higher screen res, I've had a look on Aminet but can't find anything. I know you used to be able to on the Picasso II with it's own changescreen program. :-?
anyone got any ideas. thanks :-)

You have already installed P96 and that doesn't work? Any program that opens on Workbench should be able to open on a P96 screen once you have installed that.

how about classic newmode? http://aminet.net/package/util/cdity/NewMode_V39

ChangeScreen has problems with OS 3.1. The best one is probably http://main.aminet.net/pub/aminet/util/cdity/ModePro.lha

Cheers all, I'll give them a try.
Much appreciated :-)

I used ModePro with my Cybervision. It worked great with all legally written software.

I'll see if Imagine 4 wants to play ball :-)

Hello Quagmire.
Did you ever get this issue resolved? I noticed that the Picasso changescreen utility no longer functions after upgrading to the the PIV from a PII.
- LW Modeler promotes through it's own display prefs and shows all the available PIV display modes.
- LW Layout is limited to 3 display sizes with only one working properly.
- Forge is totally useless with the PIV. Worked nice with the PII modepromotion.
- World Construction Set promotes through it's own screenmode perfs also. Splash window and main project window icons are still not right, but the rest of WCS works nice.
