Hello!
I wan´t buy the CSA 1250 to build a worker-A1200 with external
SCSI-tower.
Thy guy, who sells the card, says: the scsi-controller
on the 1250works ONLY with kick 3.0!!!
Is this right? Gives anywhere a softwarepatch or a new
scsi-chip (higher version) for this card, so that i can work
with kick 3.1?
3.0 is not bad, but i work almost with the newest stuff on my amigas.
PS:
I do my very best, but only 5 years schoolenglish
23 years ago, :-o

The Big book of Amiga hardware doesn't say it won't work with Kickstart 3.1, so I see no reason why it shouldn't.
What happens when he tries to use it with Kickstart 3.1?

I had this card and he is correct- the SCSI doesn't work with Kickstart 3.1. There is no known workaround at this time.
There's evidence that drivers once existed for the SCSI, but they would be on the accelerator's install disk, which has yet to turn up.

I don´t know, what happens. I think it won´t work
with kick 3.1! That´s all.
So i must search for an installdisk. In amiga.resource.cx
is an binary-file. When the card comes, i try to make
it work with kick 3.1 with the binary file. Or i
try to hasndle with the scsi-devices from other cars. From software it can´t be broken, :-D

That's just a dump I made of the existing firmware.
