Title: OS3.9 startup-sequence question...
Post by: mingle on November 08, 2008, 06:16:28 AM
Further to my other thread about testing OS3.9 on an A1200...

I had a look at the startup-sequence and after the install the default one seems to be for "AmigaOS 3.9 in AmigaOS XL/Amithlon"

There was also another one which (I think) was titled "startup-sequence_BB3.9" or similar - I since renamed it to "startup-sequence".

Is there any reason for using one in preference to the other?

Cheers,

Mike.

I think I'd use the second one. The other is for running OS3.9 under emulation on a pc, so will call up stuff you either don't need or don't have installed.

The 'BB' element suggests it's for running OS3.9 with the Boing Bag 1 to 3 upgrades.

It's been a while.
