Has anyone encountered this problem with Classic WB, I have a vanilla A1200 with 3.1 roms, put a CF HD inside, formatted and prepped it with no problems. Then downloaded Classic WB to my pc, booted it up in WinUAE then zipped up the contents of the Classic WB System, moved it to another CF card inside the A1200 transferred it over to the hard disk. Booted up with the Classic WB boot disk, however whenever I try to install with the disk it starts fine but then a short while later the text becomes all garbled and it just stops, but nothing is readable due the messed text. Any suggestions of what might be happening?
Cheers,
Timo

Low the max transfer in hdtoolbox or hdinsttools to 0x001fe0.

Thank you for that, it did the job, it installed everything correctly now, it seems. But now I have another problem, sorry about this. I tried to run Final Writer from the Classic WB install on my A1200, at the moment it doesn`t have any fast ram, and it keeps saying, can`t find final writer tool, what does this mean? Is it caused by there not being any fast ram?
Cheers,
Timo
