Remeber the Amiga Back for the Future song.
Watch from 2.19 and laugh

wunderbar. (whatever that means.. underwear? language sounds funny)
-
I remember hearing that song, but I thought it was just some crap made by a kid or something. Just shows A Inc, or whatever they were trading under really were on crack.
-
Oh man, I had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard!
I have to pick up a copy from Vesalia (http://www.vesalia.de/e_theme.htm) next time I order, just for the Hell of it.
-
Hehe.. it has not aged well, the dancing at least.
But seriously, I think this was Petros idea.. and he was one of the good guys, IIRC it is his woice that speaks in the tune :)
-
ROTFL - brilliant, I love it with the crowd just standing there not moving, well I guess it seemed like a good idea at the time. LOL
-
@ cv643d
Wow now I think about it when I met petro he was rather high pitched and strange sounding. Never knew he was on the tune.
I remeber seeing it performed at WOA in london. The cd skipped and they had to restart the dance. Everybody burst out laughing.
Ah well at least petro made amiga fun :D I would rather see this + amigacola and amiga boxershorts then the latest bull coming out of Amiga Inc.

Oh Cr@p,
Anyone remember the Saturday Night live skit from Mike Myers...?
Now is the time on Shprokets when we dance...
What a train wreck.
Kinda gave me that uncomfortable feeling I get when I see that freaky Merlancica guy talk....or even worse, when I see Doomy sing the only Amiga song.
-
LOL That was funny, only like 2 people were moving around in the crowd, and when they clapped there was little emotion. I remember when they released that song, funny how A-inc can only actually produce one thing and its a song lol

Oh I don't know. It looks and sounds like the same dross which is still being churned out today!

If someone from Germany would subtitle this clip in
English and send it to me, I would add it to the next
Amitopia TV show which goes on-line 10th of November.
Send it to: amitopia@gmail.com
Amitopia TV aims at giving everyone a show that contains
different Amiga programs. So, contribute and make it all
better!

i saw this at one of the last WOA shows in london.
you know when you cringe a little bit inside yourself?
that feeling was shortley replaced with "eeeek!!" as one of the male dancers did a high lift with one of the female dancers, neglecting to take into account the low concrete ceiling and exposed pipework.
the look on her face when she got down said more than words came convey.

I've seen it being performed at a big computer show in Cologne. Heck, I even bought the CD there, hoping that it would help funding the NG Amiga. I didn't like the music much, the girls were great to look at :-).

I heard that's what J.C. of G2k was thinking, too. And only looking at was not enough for him... In the end his career (and maybe even some G2k Amiga plans) stumbled over one of these girls (or to me more precise: over J.C.'s hormones).
Or was that just a rumour..? If so, my aplogies to J.C. for spreading this rumor.

It means "wonderful". ;-)

The underwear part is called Wonder Bra :-)
-
Annex..
Whoo... That made me break out my OS3.9 CD and listen to the CD Audio track of them on there!
Ok, Seriously who wants to start a Sign-Up thread, we can all learn the dance moves and perform it at AmiWest 2009?? :-D :-D
Think I'll go crack open an Ami-Cola. :-D

ha, promotion like that if applied to any company or product would instantly ruin its image regardless how good it be. tyschenko cannot even pronounce his name correctly. he seems that it is very important to him to convince the viewer that the amiga development has ceased in 1991 when commodore designed the a1200. and his most important message seems to be that amiga went already two times concours and has been rescued only to be dumped for the third time as soon they sell the rest of old rubbish they collect and even assemble. i do not even comment on the other guy whoever he might be or the redicolous dance show.

@ AmigaHeretic
Lols great idea. I was just thinking it would be really funny if I turned up at the mag bash and there was like 4 fatman in lycra dancing around a ghetto blaster in church car park in coventry. Sorry for the scary mental image :P

Too bad I'm not from Germany. :-D

@ Amidelf
I live with a german teacher so I will get you translations . I plan to film some of the Magbash in the uk so I will send you that as well. :D
-
Bring dance music and dancers to any "nerds party" and you will have a similar reaction from the audience :)
But....I shamely admit I always liked this song :egad:
-
I wonder whatever happened to Loki, the guy who actually was 'Annex' and made the music =).

Not just great to look at, as Jim Collas might want to confirm...
:-D

@ Dandy
Do you have link for that? Some posts above I wrote the same (more or less), but unfortunately I don't have a link to back this story up. I guess Senex posted it once upon a time on amiga-news.de.

I googled several hours on that topic, but was not able to find more than this:
Jim Collas and the Annex girl (http://moobunny.dreamhosters.com/cgi/mbmessage.pl/amiga/152829.shtml)
Perhaps you should try to contact Tigger at amigaworld.net on this - he was the author of the linked posting.
I can remember very well to have read the entire story in an Amiga forum about one year ago - but don't ask me where...

I bought that CD as well. One of the mixes was actually okay. Although the whole lot really needed to be remastered in a proper studio. Err, can house music be [re]mastered at all? Any point?
But the stupid "Back for the future" was kind of embarrasing. And the rest of that guys voice.
Anyway, that dance girl in the centre stage is kinda hot. :-)
