Title: AMOS Pro intstall A4000

I have an A4000/40, OS 3.1, and an original and complete AMOS Pro package. It "installs" without problem, but doesn't run properly -- for example file requesters don't work. The manual says that Assigns are made automatically, but I see none in the startup-sequences? So far I've made no progress with the included config-editor. Suggestions welcome. Thanks.

Did you use the original installer on the AmosPro disks booting from the first disk directly?  If so the disk may have modified the wrong user-startup file.

If that doesn't solve your problem you might find more solutions at the Amos Factory website (http://amos.pspuae.org/) plus all of the update disks in the download directory and the compiler as well.
