Same counts if it where located over here. Man, this is just blasphemy. What a shame, what a waste of prrrrecious Commodore stuff.

...and those machines thrown on top of each other... i don't think i can deal with much more kit myself though, as i walked into my play/workroom the other day and went "Arrrrrrgh! what do i do?!?" with all the amigas/electronics everywhere!

What computing in hell has this guy done
-
He's been trying to sell it for some time. I think if he took the time to organize things it would sell, but for now it's a risk.
-
I wonder if the storage sheds are also included in the sale :-)
-
If he wants someone to bid maybe he should include some free 50 gallon drums of Hyrdogen Peroxide? :-D

Sadly, no. This lot is 2,600++ miles away from me. If it was local I'd consider it. I hope someone else ponies up so it doesn't get tossed.
-
Pick up only eh? :-o I can't get this because...
1: I live thousands of miles away.
2: I don't have a license for an artic truck
3: I don't have an artic truck... :-D

Based on those pictures and descriptions, I'd have to guess the majority of that lot is non-functional.
"The following items are in various stages of repair and have been taken apart"
Still not a bad deal at roughtly $10 and item working or not.... if you need/want that much equipment.
Throw in the shed and it's a great deal. :-)

My Future Home :-P

They've been trying to sell that load of overpriced rubbish for months now (with no decrease in the opening bid I might add). Anyone that buys that would be better off putting the money towards psychiatric treatment.
-
*laughs*
Well, at least we know what happened to Anti-Gravity! I bet there's a BoXer in there.
:roflmao:

This is commodore hell or heaven ? :-o

Holy crap, Batman!
Wish I had money and a place to store this stuff! E-bay is gonna be flooded!
PS I do kind of miss my C64...my first computer ever as a kid.

They want a cash transaction that large in this crappy economy??????
Most people that would be remotely interested can't even afford to eat everyday, let alone throw down that cash.
I don't trust cash deals with some people over cetain amounts. They want no paper trail ? What are they hiding?
-
OMG :-o
Someone with the room and the money could make a living of this for several years!
