How do I get a hard drive (hardfile, etc) set up in Amiga Forever via UAE? I set up a directory for it and saw DHO on the workbench but I couldn't do anything with it or even format it (said I was out of memory).
Thanks,
Brian

There's a good guide here http://guide.abime.net/ written by a now sadly departed Miggy guy.
Keep his memory alive by having a look at his work

Thanks Dave...this worked!
My problem was that I had the hard drive partition within PROGRAM FILES on my Vista box and it didn't have the "rights" to write there. (I do like Vista by the way.)
I do like WB 2.0 and 3.0, but nothing speaks "Classic Amiga" as 1.3 does. "Got me" a nice 1.3 hard drive now and ready to relive some classic moments!
It is also nice to have this full screen and on my laptop. My first portable Amiga...:)

I haven't got into Vista yet. Still on XP on my PC.
You could set up each version of Workbench and Amiga and have a play with them all.
Although 1.2/1.3 is the original you might be surprised at what 3.9 looks like.

I have Amiga forever but it doesn't seem to come with all of the disks for Workbench 2.0 needed for a full HD install...am I wrong?
Also, is it 3.9 that comes with AF? And if so, how compatable is it with the old stuff? I've fired up the 3.x one a few timesd but was never sure what version it actually was.
Where can I get 3.9 if this isn't it?
Thanks,
Brian

The AmigaOS version bundled with AF is 3.1 + some additional utilities and more recent parts of the OS, hence it's called 3.x.

On Ebay, some Amiga resellers should still have it in stock.

I'm not sure what's on the CD even though I've got one I've never really searched its contents.
There are websites around that have WB downloads but unfortunately I'm not able to tell you which because of copyright laws. Try Google with Amiga WB ADF
