I seem to remember that the A500 PSU was better for expanded 1200's but I cant remember if it was the heavy type or the light type of PSU. Needs to power the spec below. I have a converted AT PSU at the moment but its messy.
If you have such an item for sale, please get in touch.

The heavier - the better. The heavy ones (from A500s) had more power, hence were better for expanded A1200s (turboboards and some older HDDs needed much more power than the standard A1200 PSU could produce).

Thanks for the info guys ... I was getting confused thinking it was the light type that was the heavy duty one

We have a box of heavy-type A500 PSUs that are used and not listed on the webstore- we need to clear through them so if you need one, get in touch.
