Anyone have a regular 50 pin 4gb-8gb SCSI HD for use with a GVP combo card they'd care to part with on the cheap? Or would trade for larger SCSI drives? I've been using large, modern SCSI-2 drives pulled from a Dell server with not much luck. Have GVP ROM 4.5, appropriate 50pin/68pin adapter and can't get it to see over half the drives available space. The icons simply do not pop up and yes, I've partitioned them smaller than 4gb w/ OS3.9. Some of the larger partitions also will fail after some time. Fail as in their icons disappear and/or the partition gets corrupted. Don't really need all this storage any way.
I do not experience any of these problems when using a 2091 card and the 7.0 ROMS, but boy is it slow compared to the GVP!
I'm in the U.S. btw...
