Well, we all know the Amiga has great graphics applications. Does anyone use a PC graphics tablet in UAE?
I have one (a small WACOM tablet). It works okay, but under the Amiga in UAE it operates more like a mouse, and I have to set my mouse speed waaaaay down in order to get the mouse pointer not to shoot around everywhere with the tablet.
The buttons on the tablet pen don't operate like the mouse buttons under UAE, so I have to switch back to the mouse to get at the menus. That means that I have to reset everything to the original settings, or the mouse is too slow to use.
I read that mousehack (included in UAE) allows better integration of PC tablets in UAE. I installed it, but mousehack tells me it's not needed with "this version of UAE" (1.5 something).
Anyone have other tips?

I don't know if you have already tried this, but in the game & i/o ports settings of winuae, you can set your mouse as mousehack mouse (required for tablets), so there's no need to install mousehack anymore.

I actually did try to set it to Mousehack in the WinUAE i/o ports settings, but it doesn't seem to make any difference. Just what is mousehack supposed to do differently?

Just what is mousehack supposed to do differently?
I don't know what it is supposed to do differently, all I know is that it is needed for tablets to function properly. Also the mousehack function was broken from winuae 1.4.6 till 1.5.0. So if I was you I would download the latest winuae (1.5.2) from http://www.winuae.net and try again. If it still doesn't function you can try to ask Toni Willen (Winuae programmer) at the English Amiga Board forum (http://eab.abime.net/forumdisplay.php?forumid=5)
