Hello all. I have 2 analog joysticks, designed for flight sims. I was wondering how I would hook these up to my Amiga 1200? I want to use them for Gunship 2000 and Birds of Prey, but I don't know if I need to wire an adapter for the serial port or for the joystick port, or even what kind of adapter to wire. Anybody have some info about this?

I once bought an "analog joystick adapter" which worked well. Probably Aminet gives something, look at this for instance:

Downloaded, looks like thats what I needed! Except for a female dbn-9, female 15 pin, and some ribbon cable. :-D I'll have to check the local Transistor Hut (Radio Shack) and see whats in stock. (probably nothing, but I also have some spare cable and an old sound card I can cannibalize) Thank! I forgot Aminet had hardware stuff, too. Hard to imagine how useful that site has been over the years...

Luckily over the years a faint image has been formed into my head what everything may be found in Aminet - it's really abundant.
