Title: Disabling Elbox 1200/4
Post by: BraindeaD on September 26, 2008, 11:17:32 AM
Hi all.

I have installed in my A1200 an Elbox 1200/4 without FPU. It runs really well but it has conflicts with PCMCIA CF adapter. Anybody knows how I can disable the RAM expansion (without remove it from the computer) via jumpers settings or something like? I need disable it just for a few minutes, in order to copy some files from the CompactFlash to HD, but with the expansion enabled I can't.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards.
Oscar.

What OS are you running?

Can't you just run the 'no fastram' command in WB?

Hi NovaCoder,
I'm under 3.0, but it is solved, the jumper to disabled/enabled is the farest from FPU slot.
Thanks!
