I have an Amiga 500, and when I first plugged it up, hardly any floppies would read reliably. I thought it was a problem with the floppy drive, so I ordered a new replacement. I switched out the floppy drive, and more floppies will read okay, but I am still having trouble reliably writing to disks.
I have come to the understanding that my Paula chip is probably bad. Does anyone have an extra Paula chip for the A500?
