Good afternoon,
I was wondering how the SAM440ep is supposed to work to run OS4.1 Is it a board that plugs into an Ami or a PC slot?

The Sam 440ep is a complete motherboard. You just need to assemble the rest of the parts (keyboard, mouse, hard drive, dvd drive, case, etc...) and then load up the OS 4.1 CD to install.

It's a standalone motherboard so it doesn't plug into anything.
You build a system around it like you would with any X86 board, or you buy a complete system pre-built.

Ok, so it's like a PC then? I was looking to build a few OS4.1 boxes for the TV station I work for to assist in graphics manipulation.

OK, this might seem like a silly question, but why do you want to use Sam440ep/OS4.1 for this? You dont expect the Sam440ep to have video-out, like the real amigas, do you?
