Title: Collector A3k and C= stuff on Craigslist Oakland CA
Post by: Amiduffer on September 20, 2008, 10:08:54 PM
Hi. This wasn't my post even though we live pretty near each other, but, just in case.

CL listing (http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/sys/845130989.html)

In extreme cases, I can pick up and ship if you're desperate for the stuff and the seller won't.

Wonder what the battery looks like! :-o

Is that guy that was on here a few months ago that said he was a commodore employee in Oakland?

I think it is the same guy. I was communicating with him by email and he kept saying he'd get back to me with a list and never did and would avoid any discussion about actually selling the items he had mentioned. It was rather frustrating to say the least. I'm don't know what the deal is. He doesn't seem to want to actually sell anything. :(

Yep, that's the guy. I heard from a trusted source that the name never rang any bells for ex-C= staff.

Had the same exact experience. Hmmm... coincidence?

Sounds like an "I have this stuff and you want it, and that makes me feel special, but if I actually sell it I won't be special anymore" kind of guy.

..or maybe he doesn't have the stuff at all.  Who knows.

I'm local, but I don't want to waste my time going to the other side of the bay just so this guy can do/act like tone007 says. Time is more precious at this juncture.
