Title: FPGA development on the SAM440ep ?
Post by: Sparky on September 17, 2008, 10:53:35 PM
Hi there,

Anyone here able to answer these ?

Acube seem to emphasise the Lattice FPGA on the SAM440ep but how accessible is that going to be from the OS side ?
Will tools be provided to load in your own code to it ? (Linux or AmigaOS)
Also which Lattice XP is on it ?

Thanks!

Mark

i wonder if it's possible to reprogram that chip while it's being used to run the program being used to reprogram it.

What ?!?

Why would you use the FPGA to do the programming ?
