I have a question everybody. I noticed that different Amiga hardware share the same firmware version numbers for example v.6.6 or V7.0 for different items such as A2091 or A2630. Are these firmware chips interchangeable or will they only work specifically for the item they go to. I was just curious.

EPROMs for the 2091 and 2630 are not interchangeable. Those for the 2620 and 2630 might be, but I don't remember.
Software Hut can probably get you what you need.

What Matt meant to say is: no, it's just a *natural* coincidence because every revision or version starts from either 0 or 1 and goes upwards in some manner decided by the company/engineers.
It's like saying: is Firefox 3.0 the same as Photoshop 3.0 because they have 3.0 on their name? Nope. It's just that software is labeled like that and in that sequence usually.
