Title: Problems Detecting Onboard Ram
Post by: dannyp1 on September 13, 2008, 01:46:35 PM
I am having trouble with my A4000T seeing the 16 megs of onboard ram.  When I have my Cyberstorm MKII 060@50 installed it sees the ram fine and also the ram on the card.  But when I install my Cyberstorm MKII 060@66 it does not see or recognize the 16 megs, only the ram is seen that is on the card.  Both cards see the chip ram fine.  Is there a jumper or something that needs changed somewhere?
Also, what is the best program to run that shows all of your ram and also is there a program to test the ram for errore?  Thanks,

Dan

If you can avoid having memory on the mainboard of an A4000, do so.  As a design flaw it takes almost twice as long to access memory on the mainboard as memory from the accelerator board.
