Hi... any feedback about highgfx modes?
Thank you in advance!
Alex
-
installed latest highgfx 4.06 using on a lg1915s lcd monitor
1024 768 looks amazing
-
Great!
So, does it run smooth also at 256 colours?
Is the Amiga chip ram enough to display that screenmode?
-
on this 1200 running wb3.0 with
a blizzard1220 4meg runs fine
-
It sound good!
So, is the chip ram "helped" in some way or is it used as usal?
I mean, in addition to the frequency matter, does this new sd offer an hardware support to show high resolutions and many colours?
It would be great if some patch like FBlit could redirect data on the Individual AGA memory instead of chip ram.
Just another question: does it use the usual DB23 video output or an additional DB15 port? In the second case, does it show all Amiga signals (included early startup screens and games) or just the WB screenmodes?
Thank you again!

Of course it shows non-Workbench screens. That's the whole point of a scandoubler.
-
Actually it's a scan tripler.
-
It won't make the computer any faster, so 256 colour modes are as slow as before.
-
Got mine yesterday, but didn't get around to installing until now.
It works fine but my only gripe is that it doesn't work with my B-Mon monitor switcher. I think a few wires need swapping over on the B-Mon cable, but I'll investigate that at a later point.

Will it get in the way of a Fast ATA MKIII ?
Pics here http://www.softhut.com/images/product_shots/IMG_2966.jpg seem to make it look that it does.
Thanks

Hi all, I have received my Indivision 1200.
I have a flickr set of it in action here:

Great pics,
Do you have any of the hardware on the mobo?
-
My Indivision arrived this morning! I have to say, if your thinking about buying one - you WONT be disappointed! Best add on I've ive bought so far methinks. I was worried that some of the PAL/NTSC games wouldn't scale or center properly but all the ones ive tried work flawlessly! Those tiny sprites on lemmings are truly pixel perfect!
Well worth the month and a half wait for sure!

Sorry, but I AM disappointed at this moment and I am not the only one having problems. The Indivision simply doesn't fit on my Lisa-version (HP-model) and (most likely because of the bad connection to Lisa) gives a heavily distorted image: badly flickering, blackouts, severe ghosting. Maybe it is the combination of my A1200 with this particular Indivision, maybe it is because of something else, but for now, it is not usable at all.
I have had to remove it from my A1200 and put the Scanmagic back in place. The A1200 is ok now, but this Indivision is not going back in my A1200. :-(

It changes the horizontal scan rate to 47KHz?

Yes, you have to downgrade to a IDEFix Express. Although I have heard rumours of someone managing to make it work using stand-offs. Not confirmed.
