Auction for the SX Mediator ends in under 3 hours.
also, my VooDoo 3 3000 ends in just 30 minutes!
Prices are pretty low right now, so you could end-up with a bargain! ;-)

Why is it private auction? Whats the benefit of that? I always feel there is shill bidding going on when I can't see other bidders - and I have been proved right before on eBay. Not saying this is the case, but I never worked out the reason why auctions are private , someone please enlighten me. :-?

impactor: what do you mean by a "private auction"? If you mean you are unable to see the names of bidders, that is NOT a private auction. That is a recent standard eBay change for ALL auctions, so it's best you ask eBay what it is all about. And I agree, I do not like it, but then I do not like a lot of things about eBay.
NONE OF MY AUCTIONS ARE SET TO PRIVATE. And there is certainly no shilling going on, they are honest auctions.
If you can't hack the pace of bidding, simply do not bid. Do not throw unfounded accusations of "shilling" around.
Thanks!

@ arkanoid
I specifically stated that I was not saying your auction was shill bidding. But being as you posted up the subject, I am entitled to discuss it. I did not know eBay had changed the auction process in regards to hiding usernames - but now I know, so my enquiry has served its purpose. I assure you my intention was simply an enquiry and I was not making allegations at you, and out of all places on the net, I know that buying from Amigans is always a very pleasant transaction.

You certainly did state that you were not saying my auction was shilled, but the _implication_ would still remain. So I was just making it clear in no uncertain terms that it would not happen on one of my auctions.
Anyway, I dislike the new hidden names thing that has been introduced too. There has always been the option to "go private" in the past, if your auction needed it. So I can't really understand why eBay has effectively made all auctions private with this new change.
But there you go, that's dumb eBay for you!
