There's serveral out there. I've checked out a few. A quick search at google for "Amiga telnet BBS" will get you started.

I occasionally visit woibbs.org and yccafe.dyndns.org

The BBS scene is little more than a spark anymore from what I've seen lately...

I'm still planning to re-create my old BBS The Missing Channel. I used the Tron BBS package which I registered back in the days, and last year I contacted the author who still had my keyfile :-)

As soon as my A4000T is properly set I'm going to play around with an ANSI editor and the BBS package again and try to put it online via telnet. But that won't happen this year anymore (and don't count on the first 6 months of 2009 either :-)).

I started off with a 14400 modem using it to look at BBS. Back then I was the first person to have a modem and although it was only 14400, because it was all ASCII it was lightning quick.

Those were the days....also the days the Amiga was king.  :-(

You can still telnet into Amigazone, Harv Laser's perennial Amiga website.  It's got all the old school Amiga stuff on it, and it is the oldest continuously functioning Amiga portal!

Harv started it in 1985, and still owns and runs it today.

There is a paid membership option, but it is cheap, and I'm pretty sure Harv could use the green :-)
