I flashed my PIC on the MiniMig this afternoon and ran into a problem I haven't seen reported. The last version of the core supported the use of Amiga Forever (AF) ROMs with the use of the rom.key file required by AF.
The update rom, at boot, reports that the kick.rom is an unsupported rom file size when I attempt to use either the 2008 or 2005 version of the 1.3 kick.rom file from AF.
Is everyone else using a rom downloaded directly from an A500?

From the readme file, I don't think Yaqube's core uses the encrypted ROM files from Amiga Forever - that was a feature of Dennis' previous release.
You can use the available ROM extraction software for "real" Amigas from Aminet, run it within the Amiga Forever emulation on Workbench and it will make an unencrypted ROM file from that which you can use with Yaqube's core.
Hopefully Dennis will insert his code to use the encrypted ROM file into Yaqube's core at a later date.

Just a wild guess, but who ever created the new MiniMig core file might have been modifying the older original core that did not support the AF ROMs without the keyfile.
You do know that you can get a ROM file that does not need the keyfile buy ripping it from a running AF emulation with one of several programs available on aminet, don't you?
Hope this helps.
Edit: I see Darrin beat me to the answer.

Thanks! Missed the part about not supporting the AF roms.
Time to get my A500 out...
